Introducing Sam Jacobs partnering with BTSM

Some of us have known Sam Jacobs, currently at LiveStream as SVP Sales & Marketing, Platform and all he is capable of in the world of sales.  Having a clear need to continue to evolve Building the Sales Machine, we are partnering with Sam and working together to bring even more great events, networking, and communication to the best sales leaders at startups.

Some years ago we started Building the Sales Machine to serve our own needs, trying to build a community of people to lean on for sales needs.  When I started in sales at Foursquare, I relied heavily on the early help from folks like Kenny Herman, Adam Liebman, Dave Greenberger, Evan Bartlett, and many many more.  We decided to start to bring together groups of people focussed on sales that could help each other.  It didn’t much matter about category or focus, sales is sales.  What we quickly found was that there was nothing like BTSM out in NYC.  Sure there were some meetups, but we all agreed weren’t helpful to our cause.  So we started hosting small groups that quickly turned into large groups to go through the hottest topics in sales in NYC.

Fast forward to 2016 we are ready to take things to the next level.  That is why we are pleased to not only introduce working with Sam, but also let everyone know that we are going to have Sam as our nest speaker.
