Artsy’s Gallery Partnerships Team defines Artsy’s value proposition for galleries and generates subscription revenue to sustain Artsy’s long-term mission of making art accessible to everyone. Working on the Gallery Partnerships Team is a unique opportunity to not only help build an incredible online resource for the art world, but also directly support Artsy’s core business goals.
While most of our team focuses on converting existing interest into new signups, the Gallery Partnerships Associate will focus full-time on generating new gallery prospects who might be a fit for Artsy’s services (very similar to a Sales Development Rep in a typical sales team setting). Primary responsibilities include:
- Generating outbound leads via email campaigns, phone calls, and occasional in-person visits with galleries, including exhibitors at Artsy’s partner art fairs and other regional targets.
- Testing, measuring, and improving marketing campaign effectiveness and end-to-end lead management.
- Qualifying and disseminating warm leads to quota-carrying sales reps.
The ideal candidate is a highly effective and compelling communicator, has experience using Salesforce and working in a sales team environment, and is comfortable managing and analyzing large data sets. Experience in the commercial art world is beneficial but not required, and fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian is a major plus.
